Commercial & brand
Campaigns, products, people and places made to sell, persuade and build a brand. Art-direction-ready and licence-clean.
Commercial photography →Riga, Latvia · Worldwide commissions
I'm Andrejs Zavadskis. For over twenty years I've made pictures that have to work — Forbes cover portraits, Formula 1 in Singapore, the Dakar Rally, award-winning Latvian weddings, and quiet family afternoons that only happen once.
At a glance
Andrejs Zavadskis is a professional photographer based in Riga, Latvia, available for commercial, wedding, event, portrait and editorial commissions across the Baltics, Europe and worldwide. He has photographed for Forbes USA, the Dakar Rally, Formula 1 and Gumball 3000, and is an LKFA Wedding Photographer of the Year.
Why brief me
Most photographers do one thing. I've spent two decades refusing to be boxed in — and that range is exactly why brands, agencies, couples and families keep coming back.
The same person who shot a startup CEO for a Forbes USA digital cover has also stood in the dust of the Dakar Rally, on the grid at Formula 1 in Singapore, in the front row of five Gumball 3000 rallies, and at the quiet edge of a Latvian wedding waiting for the one frame that says everything. Whatever you need photographed, you are hiring judgement that has already been tested under real pressure.
When you commission me, you get someone who reads the brief first and the light second — who understands that a picture has a job to do, and builds every frame to do it.
What I photograph
Thirteen disciplines, one standard. Every brief starts with the same question — what do these images have to achieve? — and is built backwards from the answer.
Campaigns, products, people and places made to sell, persuade and build a brand. Art-direction-ready and licence-clean.
Commercial photography →Award-winning wedding photography that captures emotion over poses — the unrepeatable day, told honestly.
Wedding photography →Conferences, launches, galas and celebrations covered with a sharp reportage eye and total discretion.
Event photography →Business headshots, personal branding and editorial portraits that look like the best, most confident version of you.
Portrait photography →Cars shot the way they deserve — dynamic, characterful, advertising-grade. Five Gumball 3000 rallies, shot for competing teams.
Discuss a car shoot →Menus, dishes and venues photographed so appetising you can almost taste them. For restaurants, brands and social.
Discuss a food shoot →Spaces that feel as good as they look — for architects, designers, hotels and real estate that needs to impress.
Discuss a space shoot →Natural, unposed sessions that hold on to the spontaneity and joy of childhood — frames you'll keep for a lifetime.
Discuss a family shoot →Industrial, travel, concert and sport photography — the same eye applied wherever the story needs telling.

About Andrejs
Based in Riga — a city whose medieval light seems built for a camera — I trained formally in photography through a course recognised by the International Education Society, then spent the next twenty years getting my real education in the field.
That field has been unusually wide. Burning Man in the Nevada desert. The summit push on Kilimanjaro. The Hvidstengruppen II Danish film set. Campaigns for Nordea and LMT. And, closer to home, more weddings, portraits and family stories than I can count — the work that taught me photography is really about people.
A photograph has a job to do. My whole craft is making sure it does it — and makes you feel something while it's at it.
— Andrejs Zavadskis
How a commission works
You send the project, place, date, mood and how the images will be used. I reply with availability, an approach and a fixed quote.
We lock the shot list, schedule, locations and logistics. No surprises on the day — that's the point of planning.
Calm, fast and adaptive. Whether it's a board room, a race track or an altar, I keep the energy easy and the results sharp.
A quick preview, then the full edited set — colour-graded, organised and prepared for exactly the use you need.
Investment
Every shoot is different, so every quote is built individually and itemised before you commit. These starting points give you a realistic sense of where things begin.
Prices indicative, in EUR, excluding VAT where applicable. You always receive a fixed quote before booking.
Recognition & press
Real, verifiable credits — not stock-photo claims.

Good to know
Send a short brief through the form below with your project type, location, date and how the images will be used. You'll get a personal reply — usually within one business day — with availability, an approach and a clear, fixed quote.
I'm based in Riga, Latvia and photograph constantly across Latvia, the Baltic states and Europe. I also take on worldwide assignments — I've worked everywhere from Saudi desert rallies to the slopes of Kilimanjaro.
Each one is quoted individually because scope, time, deliverables and image usage all differ. Sessions start around €250, commercial half-days and event days from €600, and weddings are quoted to the day. You always see a fixed, itemised quote before anything is confirmed.
A curated preview lands within a few days. The full edited set follows on an agreed schedule, usually one to three weeks depending on size. Rush delivery is available when a campaign or publication deadline demands it.
Yes — usage is agreed up front and written into the commission. Web, social, print, press, advertising, presentations and long-term archive use can all be covered, and licensing for publication or campaigns is transparent.
Absolutely. Send your art direction, references or brand guidelines and I'll work to them — or help shape a look if you don't have one yet.
Peak dates go months in advance, so sooner is safer — but always ask about short notice. For commercial and editorial work, even a few days' lead time is often enough.

Short is fine if the project is still forming. The more you can share, the sharper my first reply.
